I started with gen 1, and I think BW2 are the best games.

GSC and RBY aren't included because I was so young when I played them, and it was a different life for me (no internet and shit), so I had most fun playing them
What went right with Platinum is that it was a normal game after two completely shit games, and DP were so bad, playing Platinum felt like going on heroine.
If Platinum came right after Emerald or BW2 or HGSS, it would be considered just like a normal Pokemon game, if not a downgrade.
Anyway, I'm not saying it's bad, it's one of the better games, but I hate how people react to these topics, it's not the perfect game ffs, it takes place in a shit region and the story is shit just like every other Pokemon game.
