You KO it, or it KOs you, and the process restarts either way. It literally doesn't progress until you catch it

It'd probably just progress where you have to either kill it or restart.

If some kid is dumb enough to not have a bunch of balls, since it give them the chance to reset, they can pretty much leave and come back then to catch.

Rayquaza also has a lower (or higher?) catch rate I think. It's pretty easy to actually catch it.

Is Hasty and okay nature for it? I'm trying to catch a Naive Ralts, but it's not turning up and I need to go to bed. Stick with the Hasty I just found, or keep trying when I wake up?

Yeah, it wouldn't let me post for a little bit. Some kind of gateway error...

Also I wound up getting two "crit captures" with Rayquaza, but it broke out both times. I had three failed crit caps during my main playthrough, and I still don't know how that happened. I thought they were 100% successful?
