Found my old collection of pokemon cards. Back when it was 150 of them. It's from 99' if i'm not mistaken. What would something like this be worth today? It's complete, with trainers, energy and all pokemon.

Commons and uncommons are worth shit, like sub $1 each. Even non holo rares aren't substantial.

Where you want to look at is Holos. Those can start at $5 up, depending.

Look on this site and ebay to see what individual cards go for. Keep in mind that shadowless and 1st Edition varieties of cards go for much more.

Another thing to be aware of is the condition of the card. Is it jizz stained? You're not getting anything. Is it locked in an air tight safe? You'll be rich, motherfucker.

If you PSA grade your best cards, you can potentially multiply your profits, but only do this on cards that are worth over $10 already.

If you didn't keep them in hard protectors then they are worth next to nothing. The only ones that are worth a decent amount of cash are ones that are 100% mint. They might look like they are in perfect condition, but there are some qualities such as the wax coating on them that has been wearing away. It couldn't hurt to get some of the more valuable ones to be sent in and rated, but you could end up losing money on that if the rating isn't very good (paying more to send it in than it would be worth to sell it).

Just keep them, anon. You'll regret selling them in a few years.

Dont let them fool you man,, I sorry, but your stuff is WORTHLESS.

Pokemon became a HUGE franchise right away, Everyone EVERYONE and their mother has those same cards
They are so oversaturated, most card places wont even take them in bulk (like hundreds and hundreds of them) for more than a few dollars.

Literally the energies are worth more than most of the pokemon.

Even the holos are worthless for the most part.

There are a few super rare exceptions (that you probably wont have)
things like:
Unopened packs.
1st edition mint condition charizard
a rare few other 1st edition mint condition and shadowless things

but other than that, theyre seriously not worth ANYTHING.

Unless it's a really rare first edition, some limited card from events, an important print error of a famous card or a rare competitive one it won't sell. To not talk about their condition.

The problem is Pokèmon cards are not vintage and rare enough to sell.
