Is there a general guide on how to secret base? Things like how to maximize flag pickups and whatever. Serebii doesn't have any of the nitty gritty on it.

Also my base where the only remarkable thing is a really dumb gimmick music path.

Most likely, someone with platinum rank would stop collecting flags since he's reached the top. Like I said, Silver, gold, and even orange could potentially give you more flags than green because they've probably been out collecting. It's not guaranteed because you may have caught them before they started collecting.

You can check how many flags the person has collected that day by talking to them a second time. I've found some green flags with decent flag piles and it's worth remembering your flag doesn't seem to change color until you talk to Aarune.

You can have 15 bases Favorited and I don't understand the second half of the question. It sounds like your trying to scan QR codes and it's telling you you can't. If so it's shitty text and it's telling you you have the max number of bases overall (30).

Yeah, you can get PP Up, Max Revive and Master Ball from them. Picking berries can also give you rare ones like Liechi or Petaya, which I got yesterday and today.

Talking about skills, how do "Taking care of egg" skills work? Do they immediatly hatch one? Because that would be very useful.

Seems like Ninja Boy, Schoolkid, and Picnicker are the best classes in the game since they have a combination of the 5 best abilities: Make some goods, Pick up Stones, Gather Berries, Pick something up and, Search for treasure.

Ace Trainers are usually kids who think the "strongest" kind of trainer is the coolest. Of course, they're in the worst bases that give you no flags at all and actually, other than giving free levels, have useless skills.

Honestly, these bases where you're forced to kill time are the best ones. Objectively, they serve more purpose than say Bedroom 2.0 bases where you just walk in there and do jack shit and leave. But of course, you're probably the same guy who thought Unova's straight line to the end was godsend.

Berries give you rare ones like Liechi or Petaya. Treasure gives you Pearls, Nuggets, etc., stuff you can sell for loadsa money at stores. Pick something up lets you find stuff like PP Up, Max Revive and even Master Balls.

That's why they're better. You not needing them doesn't make them less shit, but compared to them, classes like Expert, Ace Trainer and PKMN Breeder are almost useless.

Secret Pals only give you flags once when you invite them to your base. Invite them, talk with them, if they give you flags, perfect. Use their skills and when you're done with them, Say Good-Bye.

Remember people registered by QR code won't give you flags if you invite them, only those that respawn in their bases.

Actually, flag color doesn't really matter, even green flags can give you, it all depends in how many they gathered that day. Talk to them twice when you find them, the second dialog will tell you how many flags they've gathered in total so far, if the number is decent, add them, they have better chances of giving extra flags to you.

Of course, if a base is completely empty, don't even bother, just take their flag.

It's in the OP. People you register with QR codes won't give you flags if you invite them, only those in their bases AND only after midnight after adding them.

I'm still shopping for base locations, and I'm wondering about some of the layouts. There's the backwards C-shaped one with what looks like a cliff in the middle of it, do you need Rock Climb to get up that or can you just climb it by walking into it?

I doubt that would work out the way you want it too. Most likely, with the way the game handles Passerby's, what would happen is you would only get one, maybe two tops if you were anything above bronze, due to both how diminishingly rare they are a percentage of the players and how unlikely they are to be online and on the same route as you. If you were gold or platinum, you'd probably just get nobody the vast majority of the time.

I agree with the other stuff though. Maybe have like a catalog of stored bases you've made, but you only ever get to have one at a time in game, though you can easy set up the stored ones. I have no idea why there's such a low item limit, seems very pointless. Maybe too many breaks their shitty engine?

I'm not sure about the memory blocks, though I just remembered we have to have a card anyway because of how the patches work, so it probably wouldn't really be an issue anyway.

Can secret bases pass Eon Tickets? I just got some passerby's base called Team Distro EonTicket. He had a Latias, Yveltal, and Mega Latios, and when I challenged him, he did the normal routine of saying his phrase, telling me he does single battles, and asking if I was ready. He also said something extra at the end which spooked me

Ok, guys. I finished the game a few days and I'm fine now. Still have a lot of shit to do and I've been lurking these threads for days.

I've got a few questions regardins secret bases, sorry if any of these is repeated.

For adding a minion in my base, do I NEED to add anybody? Let's say I want a schoolgirl at the base, will I need one friend with the schoolgirl avatar? Can't I add a bot?

People say that you can change your base's name, slogan and all that but, everytime I enter a base I created, it just appear "xxx's base" at the flag. The option for changing it doesn't appear anywhere. Also what are the "cheer up" and "welcome" messages for? Do it really have any use?

You need to find someone with the avatar you want for your grunts and recruit them.

To change your name, slogan, etc, go to the PC in your base. And the messages are what your avatar says in another person's game.

After you add a minion the option to change team name/slogan and general message will appear in the secret PC.

You must find a base with a Schoolgirl and invite her to your base. Not sure what you mean with bots but if I'm correct, the answer is no, you can't add trainers just like that.

You change the team name and slogan the first time you invite a pal to your base, after that the option will be in your PC. Welcome message is what people say when you invite them, for example. Cheer up message, to be honest, not sure when it's told.

Hi there secret base friends, I'm new to this fun (just began secret base business yesterday). I somehow managed to have my world filled up with some secret bases from people online (how does that work?) and I went and visited them all, picked up their flag, then invited them to my base, aand then inquired if they had any flags for me.

It's been 24 hours since then, now am I supposed to kick them all out except one of them, and then update my NewsNav thing? This is in order to get a whole new bunch of people in and then get flags from them etc, in order to get like Gold rank in a week.

Also does the NewsNav thing update every 24 hrs or 8 hrs?
