>>22083592What you fuckers don't seem to realise is that BF doesn't actually have a purpose any more.
The people who just want to play through a Pokemon game will play through the Pokemon game as normal, and won't waste as much time grinding mindlessly due to Exp. Share. Nothing changes for them.
The people who want difficulty in their Pokemon game will complete the story, muck about in the postgame and then move onto the multiplayer. They'll waste less time breeding than in the old games and will get to go online and face opponents across the entire spectrum of human ability (when it comes to pokemon).
Remember, when BF came out, there wasn't a Pokemon World Championships. There wasn't an easy way to battle online. GF had to add a whole load of postgame somehow for the players who wanted difficulty, so the BF was born out of necessity. Now players can go online with their teams and battle opponents across a whole range of difficulties with no need for gimmicks, no need for cheating AIs and no ways to abuse the computer opponent's lack of imagination.
If anything, Pokemon's difficulty has risen, because there are now people who train and play until they're good enough to be paid travel money to go to an international tournament. You can play against these people from your bedroom. The difficulty is just fine.
