Couldn't even get into the spirit of the battle because I already knew going into it I was going to blast this idiot the fuck out. The whole last stretch of the game from Sootopolis through the League through the Delta Episode was a fucking bore because absolutely none of it was a challenge, I may as well have been just drudging through a series of wild pokemon encounters except I couldn't skip any of it.

Exactly I only had some trouble during the elite 4 and Steven with my under leveled team because I couldn't have been bothered to fix my teams move sets after having to give them a bunch of HMs at the last second.

Oh, and that's the fucking weird part, they made actual wild encounters far less common to make up for dexnav hunting, you could skip a good majority of the trainers you come across(Including every single trainer in or on the water), and they seemed dead set on making the surf sections either nonexistent or as quick as humanly possible, and yet it's still almost impossible to be overleveled unless you're doing a nuzlocke
I mean I know at some point I have to recognize that it's mainly a game for kids, but holy shit are kids really that retarded?

That's a thing that happens after you knock out one of their pokemon
And all you know is the name of the pokemon they're going to use next
So you would have to know a large chunk of the pokemon and their typings, and how those typings match up, to get any real benefit from it at all
So it's literally the opposite

Also if you think the game is actually not easy without switch mode, and that switch mode is the only possible reason people could be complaining about it, that says a lot about you
