I'm curious about the taste of /vp/ when it comes to videogames

I played the digimon world game and it was pretty fun. Ogremon finally getting a proper mega made me happy.

the game by itself is great and worths the buy, but no "Tales of" game has a decent english voice acting or is just tha the Japanese VA are way to over their heads when it comes to this games were dialogues between characters a serious core of the franchise.

again I'll totally recommend Tales of Abyss is an awesome game, it is just myself i prefer an "Undub" version which doesn't exists.

I have the Goldbeard set, it's awesome. Sharpness +1 is incredible.
Although I personally prefer the G Rank Uragaan set, can't say no to that massive Defense.

Not it isn't, it's otherwise, some of the dialges are top tier... in Japanese, in English they are fine but it's jus not the same quality as teh Japanese ones.

And the gameplay is solid.

Personally I can't stand the "loli" voice almost all Japanese dubs have. Anise, IMHO, has a horrible voice acting in Japanese dub.
I found that English dub was ok. Not excelent nor cringeworthy.
It's a matter of tastes after all.

I pretty much only play Pokemon and Animal Crossing.

One of these days when I have money I'll buy Fantasy Life and Bravely Default. Maybe some Harvest Moon as well. Apparently the newest one is trash, is there a good 3DS HM yet?

Tales game by LARGE has great is not very decent dub, as far as dubbing goes. Back when Symphonia was released I was in awe for a good few years how good it sounded, even to some popular animes of the time (Yu-Gi Oh, Inuyasha - yes, those were the times). Vesperia had good voices, I've heard complaints about Tear but Abyss I found fine too, nothing at all struck me as cringey. Graces had some great voices too imo, I've played every title released in NA too.

I personally enjoyed the hell out of Harvest Moon: A New Beginning. It can be a bit slow though at the beginning (the first month is shit), but it's got nice customization (you can pretty much customize yourself and your farm's layout however you want) and the wifi system is abusable as hell, if that's your thing.

If you want a 3ds HM now, go for that, but Story of Seasons also looks good, if you'd rather wait for that to get localized (though it doesn't have Harvest Moon in it's name because Natsume a shit).

The 3DS has no games. There's nothing worth plain. Buying a 3DS to play pokemon was a waste of money because the new pokemon games really suck. It's been out for 4 years and there's still nothing worth playing.
