I enjoy the Assault Vest set which lets it use its mono-Dragon typing to its advantage with its great Fire/Water/Grass/Elec resists:

Druddigon @Assault Vest
Sheer Force
Adamant ; 252 HP 252 Att 4 SpDef
-Dragon Claw
-Sucker Punch
-Gunk Shot
-Fire Punch

Spam Dragon Claw, Sheer Force boosted coverage moves for great damage against Steels/Fairies, Sucker Punch for priority. Best acts as a pivot rather than a sweeper, so don't actually sit there and spam moves. There are a lot of opportunities for Druddigon to switch in, esp. with its resists and AV boosted SpDef.

There's also the Restalk + Glare + Dragon Tail set. Can even use a Rocky Helm on it for passive damage. This does best with a cleric on the team.

Sheer Force basically makes all of those moves work together for an ideal set. Band is certainly viable, though I think its ability to switch makes it a better pivot/attacker.

If you cannot breed 5 IV mons, then the main focus is on: 31/31/x/x/x/31, assuming the defenses aren't single digit numbers (aim for an Outstanding mon with 31s in the key stats).

I run mine trick room. I have mega camerupt on my team so I desperately needed a water resist while still keeping type variety nice. Gunk shot for azumarill (OHKO unless it's a full def HP variety I bet, never ran into one), and mold breaker EQ for rotom-W. Brave, 252 atk, 252 HP, 0 speed iv

it's a shame that dragon rush has shit tier accuracy and isn't even learned by Druddigon

not like it would be wise to sacrifice coverage/Priority for hone claws, even if it benefits Gunk Shot as well.
