Okay, I have 2 5IV eevees in the daycare with one holding destiny knot, why do 4/5 of their eggs only have 3IVs or 4IVs maxed out?? I just want 1 6IV female to breed with a foreign 5IV male, does it take forever to get those?

Destiny knot picks 5 out of 6 of the parent IVs, one iv is always random, so you still need to rely on luck to get a 6iv

I get 5IVs sometimes along with 4IVs but it shouldn't be possible to get 3IVs right?

Let me guess. The Eevee in the daycare don't have the same IV Spread.

If that's the case, it's possible to get eggs with Four and even three perfect IVs. Remember, the Destiny Knot pick 5 IVs from the parents AT RANDOM.

And to get an offspring with the six IVs at 31 is just a matter of luck, since you can control up to five. Don't even bother to get 6 IVs, even less a female Eevee with that, just aim for the five ones you need.

5 stats will randomly pass from either parent and 1 is completely random so chances are that a female 6 IV Eevee will take forever.

It tooks the HP from the parent without perfect HP, the special attack from the other and generated the Defense.

Plausible. And annoying, just keep trying.

no, what you have is all you need to get a 6IV

just keep in mind that the chance of a 6IV is like 1%, compared to 16% of a 5IV

Yes, at least that way you will consistently have 4IV eggs.
You could also use a 6IV Ditto if you own one.

You can sometimes nail a 5/6 IV with all the correct IVs in the first batch of 5 or it can take a few boxes sometimes though its really rare to go more than about a full box to get a penta or better if like you are breeding from 5IV parents like you say you are.
If I was to bet money on what your specific problem is, you are new to breeding and 30-40 eggs is 'a lot' to you.
You'll get used to the averages and get a better feel for it if you stick with it.
