Mega Diancie would be quite a bit better. Come in and soak up rocks, prevent the opponent from setting them up whilst setting them up itself.

Would a poison type pokemon with flying typing or levitate still soak up toxic spikes since it only hits mons on the ground?

Not that Stealth Rock needs yet another nerf, though, given how strong Flying is right now. It'd be neat if SR also got a 50% boost in power when set by an actual Rock-type in addition to the Rock absorption thing. Mega Aerodactyl would have a field day.
