>Removing a Mega Stone before a Pokemon Megas can prevent its mega-evolution
>Knock Off effects Mega Stones
>Embargo prevents trainers from Mega-evolving their pokemon
>Thief and Covet can steal Mega Stones if the user isn't holding an item
>Trick and Switcheroo work with Mega Stones
>If a Pokemon has already Mega Evolved, it's stone can be removed without affecting the Mega Evolution, and be replaced with another item
This would make Megas counterable in singles, especially if you predicted a switch and used Knock Off
>Buffing Knock Off even more
Who cares? Every team already runs at least one user so it will make literally no impact. You could also cripple megas with Annoying Scarves or an Iron Ball in Singles, as well as leaving open some terrifying combos like tricking Choice Bands onto M-kanga in doubles.
What do you think? Could be fun
