I use 6 machamps. Don't know why I decided to do that, but I did. Before the point where you could actually get machops I just solo trained a torchic.

But yeah, 6 machamps is the most fun ive had in a while, it's just such a stupid idea that it makes the game funner for me. The fact that fighting pokemon can learn so much random shit helps make up for the fact my entire team is just fighting.

I call it the 24 arms of mercy.

I had a lot of fun with this team.
I kept them severely underleveled the entire game.
I beat the Pokemon League when they were all around level 47, Steven's team being 57 overall, M-Metagross being his strongest at 59. I was one hit away from losing.
I plan to do the same with Omega Ruby.

Because besides surf, none od the HMs were worth using on my team. That ans having a meat shield is really useful. Shame it had gluttony instead of pick up though. Oh, and just in case you're curious about what I put waterfall and dive on, I used it on Latios since it became a situational HM slave

I'm overleved as fuck because I spent ages fucking around with secret bases and battling trainers to finish leveling up pokemon I decided on after the 6th gym, plus everyone had to carry oddish to level 43.

When you don't want type overlaps and only want to use Hoenn mons, I didn't have any other options for Camerupt really.
Dude is pretty cool anyway.

I COULD have changed Sceptile, originally I planned to, but he grew on me.

Honestly I struggled to not just use the same team I always do. Never used Aggron before so that was a plus, and the Megas for Swampert and Gardevoir were really fun. But I think I'm honestly tired of Flygon (I used one in XY because I found a Shiny Trapinch) and Breloom/Slaking weren't as fun as they were last time I played Emerald ~6 years ago. Definitely NOT tired of Mega Mawile but didn't use her in the endgame because I was already using Aggron and Gardevoir.

Surprisingly attached to my Surfing Sharpedo. I might train up a proper one after I get the Mega Stone.

I wish this game had NG+.

Aaand mine. Not pictured: my Sharpedo and Swellow. Got a Linoone too but exclusively as a HM slave, I traded over a lvl 100 one from my X the moment I started ORAS to abuse high level pickup (rocking on 2x lefties, so it worked pretty well). Had my EXP share off and never had problems, dunno what everyone else's on. Didn't need to grind at all and my whole team of 8 I juggle between were at their 70ies when I finished Delta.
