I decided to play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team earlier today, to find that my cartridge didn't have a save file any more. I started the game and played up until you first save and saw a message that said "Save Failed", and upon restarting the game, the save was gone.

I looked this up and all I found was emulator fixes, buy a new game and change the cartridge battery, which doesn't exist.

Are there any solutions?
