>The storm blew harder and harder on the mountain, its winds ravaging the frozen cliffs. Like air through an organ, frigid gales billowed through the peak's mazework of chasms, caves, and crevices, creating cacophonous howls that rumbled it inside and out. In the thick darkness of blizzard and night, only one faint light could be seen: a weak, pulsating glow of rich yellow and blue, crackling and sparking as its producer trudged its way through the snowbank. The electricity came from the mighty yeti, Electivire, and the organic wires protruding from its back. The limited warmth provided by its own bioelectricty was crucial to the yeti's survival. Without it, Electivire would have surely met its end in lighter storms than this. But even now, the thunderbolt pokemon struggled to make its way home to its cave near the summit. Heat escaped its body with every labored breath as the snowfall thickened, the night grew colder, and the very will it had to continue slowly diminished. But Electivires are hardy, powerful creatures - surely, this storm would not be the end of this particular specimen. On the brink of death at the hands of the elements, the mighty yeti unleashed a startling burst of electric power, an explosive release of lighting that fractured into the sky, striking against the clouds that continued to bury the mountain in snow. The burst was accompanied by the deafening boom of thunder, like an electric gunshot that surged through the heart of the storm. Suddenly, the winds were absent, and all of the noise had died down, with only the huff-puff of the yeti echoing along the cliffs. For as long as it was silent, which was only just long enough, the once feeble light from Electivire's core reached far into the snowbank, to where it illuminated its home at last - a cave on the highest plateau of the mountain. Electivire's exhausted breaths gave way to a relieved sigh, and it once again trudged through the snow as the blizzard quickly resumed.
