And hey, worst comes to worst, the writing can make up for the art sometimes, I suppose, right?
Also, in the sense of recommending Nuzlockes, I'd like to throw ShadeOfShinon's Emerald run in the ring. The girl is Scandinavian (Swedish I believe?), which heavily influences the story, and her art is fan-fucking-tastic, the mons actually look like wild monsters/animals.
