It's just silly, its the same case with MBlaziken.
If you're running the Mega, you can go Adamant instead of Jolly, and that alone make the Mega Version hit harder than the normal even if the latter carries a Life Orb.
Both cases are bulkier than its base form, hell, MAerodactyl has a nice 80/85/95 Bulk and in Sandstorm it can sponge a few Special hits before going down.
Adamant Tough Claws boosted moves from MAerodactyl, even weak, they hit hard as fuck because everything that is TC Boosted its for coverage, so, they are going to hit for SE damage. And in Doubles Sky Drop get the TC Boost and nullifies a threat for your teammate.
I guess she talks for the first glance observation of the masses. This said, I somewhat agree with her observation of MAbsol, the thing is too frail, if isn't going to KO, it's going to be KO'd back.
