Amie has a french motif in the title, to fit with the French theme of Kalos.

Customisation, however, does not.

Yet Customization is the feature that is missing from OR/AS, and the excuse was "French themed that is suited best for the Kalos Region"

Basically, they fucking lied to our faces about why they were too fucking lazy to include that feature, and people are sucking their cocks for it.

I just think customization was out because the characters we are using are really recognizable, representative of gem 3 and iconic, while Serena and Calem are newly introduced and not so nostalgic worthy. I don't know about the rest of the complaints

You gotta be shitting me. Even in HGSS all the Battle facilities from Platinum had the trainers replaced with the version's regional equivalents.

The latter, I think. I think ORAS was rushed. If Gamefreak had spent more time developing it, the game would probably be a lot more polished in terms of little things like this. It might have even had Frontier, despite the bullshit justification they gave for its exclusion (which makes no sense given Maison is fairly hard in its own right).

They wanted to rush ORAS out fast to make bank though.

They could have at the VERY least added a single shop with all the X/Y options. At the VERY least make it post game material.

I can always hope for an update, but to be honest, I think this might actually be the deal breaker between me and Gamefreak. Until character customization is back, I'm gone.

They removed the trainer customization because fashion is more popular in France than it is in Japan, but I will agree that reasoning is still not a valid reason to remove it. I guess they just wanted it to be more like the originals. You should have seen this coming when the screenshots of square puddles were released.

Sea lion faggot. And Ohmura did a decent job designing Samurott. While it does look off compared to it's pre evos, it keeps the line's theme consistent while retaining and upgrading features it had as a Dewott. It can still fight as a biped too, its just isn't it's standard stance anymore. I do agree Masuda is shit at decision making. He just got lucky that he had a good and creative artist on his hands.
