Didn't someone confirm that you could run from a legendary battle and it would reset the Pokemon's shiny value?

Would any of you guys who have SR'd for legendaries say it's worth it? Seems like it takes way too long for me, but I'm not sure.

My latias appeared within 50 encounters, this fucking bird took like four days. Yeah, it's pretty satisfying when it appears but I'm not hunting every legendary, that would take too long.

My Ho-oh hunt took ~5000 resets im HG. Can I plan on my SR in Alpha Sapphire taking less resets than that? Please say yes, that hunt was pure misery.

Probably. Since they doubled the base rate of finding shinies and you can get the shiny charm in this game, your odds of getting one in this game are way better than they were in HG.

Well, that works for Lati@s, but does it work for the legendaries you have to reach into the hoop to encounter? I don't just want to assume yes and then waste a whole bunch of time doing what I THINK is shuffling the shiny rate but is actually doing nothing.
