I hear you need to catch Rayquaza, beat a trainer and catch Deoxys in succession in ORAS. I'm getting the game for christmas, so I'm not sure yet, but a lot of people are talking about this.
I also hear that if you beat up Deoxys in this succession, you can fight him again in Sky Pillar. Ok, so here's the question.
If I want to get good IVs for Deoxys, let's say I kill him on first encounter for convenience. Then go to Sky Pillar and catch him over and over there for good IVs.
Will the Deoxys I find there have the same stats as the one in space? If I want to get good IVs, do I have to catch the one in space?
