I run a specs modest set on this faggot, he's the main wallbreaker on my team that's just hit 1600 in OU

Really wish it got Competitive instead of Defiant, but it is pretty beastly.

Not in OU, but Ground-pokemon + Lum Berry in AG is a pretty good Swagplay trap, especially if you use Sub after the initial Swagger. I've done it successfully on Flygon and even Krookodile, but Garchomp is probably the best for this.

Parasect makes for a decent defensive core when teamed up with Heatran. They cover each other's weaknesses perfectly (except Parasect's rock weakness.)
Also, dry skin is just the tightest shit in rain. I run a Parasect with Leech Seed, Sub, Spore and X-Scissor and the nigger saps life left and right while building new subs. He is decently bulky aswell and has useful resistences with Ground, Electric and Fighting and Water immunity is also great in Scald - The Meta. Grass quad resist makes him a counter for Sceptile if that doesn't carry HP Rock.
His real problem is the smogon bird. But, as I said, I have Heatran for that.

Empoleon thread? Definitely an underrated Mon. It's actually one of the most reliable answers to Greninja as it walls any Greninja set that doesn't have Low Kick. One thing that many people haven't realized for whatever reason is that Empoleon's synergy with Lando-T is insane. Lando resists all of Empoleon's weaknesses and vice versa, so they make an excellent defensive core where Empoleon takes special hits and Lando handles the physical side. Empoleon also has a great typing for a Defog user as it's immune to Toxic Spikes and resists Stealth Rock, while Roar means that opponents can't set up on it. It works well in Battle Maison too, and I was able to reach ~160 win streak with Landorus-T / Empoleon / M-Venusaur in Singles.

They are not native to Gen 6. You're best bets for acquiring one are the wifi general or GTS. I'd happily share one of mine, except the wifi in my residence is incompatible with the 3DS. Best of luck.

Empoleon was more subtle with how popular he was. It wasn't until the sub petaya combo that people began to really use him alot. (He was somewhat popular before but solely for a bulky water and even then other options were sometimes picked)

I've been running him since Gen 4 as a bulky offense and have had little issue, just keep away from close combats and he's good to go.

Screens just amp up his defenses so using them is also encourage.

actually it does. thundurus also has a similar bullshit coverage range but because he doesn't get stab on everything, you can use generic special walls.

example: people used latias to check thundurus, even though it usually has max special attack investment with HP ice. without stab, its not doing enough.
i know there's knock off now for lati@s and celebi checks but point still stands.

Not sure if bait but taking it anyway.

1850+ at the moment is the top 6 OU players. 1750+ is the top 26 players. You don't have to just be the best 50 on a site with tens of thousands of players to be gud. 1600 is about 298 which is pretty damn respectable.
