Fuck, holy shit, GETTING to Ecruteak City just wrecked me hard.
Lost my Ghastly (Violet Level 5-18) to the Pokefan's raichu in a thunderbolt that did way more than I would expect.
Lost both my Belsprout (Dandy 6-18), and my best Zubat (Terry 3-18) in that double battle with the two beauties. The Metronome fucked over Terry, and then when I looked down to write it in my log, Dandy was dead when I looked up.
Finally, my capture encounter (a second consecutive Stantler, no dupes clause in my run) for route 37, refused to get in the fucking ball, and critted my Dratini (Kaida, 15-18 got from Game Corner, counted it as goldenrod encounter, which also meant it precluded getting Bill's Eevee)
Was already worried about Morty even when I had my full team, but this should be trouble.
Hopefully one of those fucking deer can be useful
