I actually liked Pokemon Colosseum.

If they want to give console Pokemon another stab, I'd be ok with that. I'm not sure what they could add that would make it distinct from the portable games though or worthwhile as a game in of itself. battle revolution was a disaster.

XD/Colosseum were better than X/Y in almost every way, barring square shadows. Better music, better graphics, better implementation of 3D, no Fairies, no forgettable as fuck story mode, the best villain in the franchise, doing something different in a way that isn't complete shit... it was so much better it makes me nostalgic for the simpler times before we knew how bad X/Y were.

Not just Bug. Dark got hit hard too. Ice lost its only niche. Fighting was nerfed defensively, meaning 90% of all fighting types got gutted hard. Dragon as nerfed solely because of 4 strong Pokemon in that type, yet you can bet your arse that Fairy won't get nerfed, despite Azumarill and Mawile making life a living hell.

Fairy had no reason to exist, and has no reason to still exist.

If it isn't retconned out/nerfed/given a massive facelift by Gen 7, then I doubt I'll continue playing Pokemon anymore. I'll probably pick up a Mystery Dungeon game if it isn't shit, but that's not very likely still. Oh well, Amiibos are enough like Pokemon that I don't particularly care anymore.

I mean, sure, it hurts and removes your item, but after that, it becomes really weak offensively. It's useful on some Pokemon who don't really have another slot to be used by a different move.

Pokemon like Houndoom and Scrafty got majorly nerfed for no reason.

Just about every town theme was fantastic.

That doesn't make it better. You can pull off more using 2D sprites well than if you tried using 3D horribly. That's why the 2D-3D jump in the late 90's killed off tons of franchises, and those that it didn't suffered terribly.

Stop with that line of thinking you retard. Dragons weren't the problem, it was the ones at the very top. You want to know why Garchomp, Dragonite, and Salamence are continuously used to great success? Because they keep getting updates that make them stronger, exactly like Gengar.

Garchomp would have suffered more if he didn't get massively buffed by tutors and item additions. Fairy did nothing to it. It was a shit addition and needs to be removed.

Yes, that little extra shit you can do at the end of the game is what i feel best describes good single player post game and is a nice touch that i like immersing myself into. I like having new areas to fucking go to and explore. Besides the islands you can go to in oras which you can do the second you get the 7th badge, no 6th gen game has decent post game

Unova is literally a pathway. Kalos isn't that much better, but if I remember correctly you can literally walk from Opelucid City to Striaton Town in BW2 and only encounter one place where you have to walk though tall grass

Kanto may have been the progenitor but in retrospect it's plain as fuck. It's not bad, it's just that other games and pokemon expand on the series so much that it just isn't fair to compare Kanto to anything at this point.

I don't agree with that. Gen III, IV and VI are all fine because their stories are based on simple concepts that people can easily accept and integrate into the journey. Truth and ideals is already an awkward concept to start with, and it didn't help that they bogged it down in a million other awkward concepts that they wanted to implement.

My point was you can take pretty much anything found in the early parts of BW to the Elite Four, which is more than I can say about most of the other regions. you can do all of this before beating the champion anon, by obtaining the National Dex directly after you beat/capture Poster Primal.

The only postgame in ORAS is Delta Episode and Battle Resort. Funny enough BW1 has more Postgame, but overall it has less content.
