ORAS was a final demonstration to hoenn babies that their gen was shit. ORAS make HG/SS look like the second coming of christ in comparison.

And no amount of battle frontier could have flushed away the shitty after taste of ruby and sapphire.

I would rather have played a remake of daimond and pearl. That's how bad ORAS was.

I would have said the same thing about Platinum when Diamond and Pearl were new, but look where we are now. Gen 4 is many people's favorites, and there's slightly less slow health bars as far as the eye can see.

I dont consider Gen 3 a shitty region ,The problem here is that Emerald,aside from the BF ,fixes the mayority of gen 3 problems and ORAS just fucked up

In terms of single player experience:
Gen 2 if you mod it to fix the Pokemon distribution and level scale, which is easy. But vanilla experience? It'd have to be B2/W2.
