I've been out of the meta for awhile. What's good in metaland nowadays?

My favorite in 5th gen was Hail Stall, but that seems less good now with weather not infinite anymore. My second favorite was Baton Pass. I like stall-y, kinda gimmick-y more than just good attackers/defenders.

baton pass is only allowed on one pokemon per team on showdown, because people were destroying hyper offense with baton pass chain teams that only had like two mons that could actually attack and people got booty bothered.

showdown is smogon's battle sim. if you don't know about it, then ignore the baton pass shit because the only meta you ought to be concerned about is VGC. and for that, get yourself a mega kangaskhan or a mega salamence and find a way to deal with them, because everyone in VGC has one or the other.

Haha, well I've always played by Smogon rules, so if that's what's expected in most battles, that's what I'd play by. Besides, I'm not eligible to participate in VGC anyway.
