Mystery dungeon thread?
What's the best one to start with? I have the urge to play a pokemon game that isn't main-series.

Explorers of Sky is best. Don't bother with Time/Darkness since Sky is both of them combined + more content.

Red/Blue Rescue Team are good on their own, but inferior to the aforementioned.

Don't bother with Gates to Infinity. It's worse than all the games I mentioned. It can't even be emulated unlike the others.

Wii PMDs a shit.

The PMD games aren't very good. That being said, if you can stomach slow moving dialogue that repeats itself, then Gate's story manages to be quite good (as in an absolute godsend by pokemon standards.)

Gameplay's dull in all three games, but if you'd be happy eating a huge plate of boiled potatoes, get Explorers of Sky. The other DS games are inferior in every way to Sky, so don't bother with them.

100% accurate. Hoping there will be a new one that isn't dog shit. Like 500+ pokemon with a bunch of dungeons, no bullshit DLC and 99 floor dungeons.
The story was ok in GTI, music was demi-god tier and I have mixed feelings that they removed hunger
