"Rate My Team" / Team Advice & Help Thread

No.22189406 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
This is my team right now. I'm looking for a sixth slot, ideally a physically defensive pivot with a bit of physical offense that can use Knock Off and inflict status, preferably Burn. Now obviously I don't think there's any Pokemon that can run all of those options, and if there is, probably not viably. Specific concerns are in brackets.

Swampert (Torrent / M:Swift Swim) @ Swampertite
Adamant w 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
>Waterfall / Earthquake
>Ice Punch / [Superpower or Iron Tail?]*
*I've been keeping Superpower in tow for one reason and one reason only: Chansey. And, I guess, Dark-types like the infrequent Bisharp. However, Iron Tail would be a good against the much more common Azumarill - although no other Fairies have really given me much trouble so far.

Darmanitan (Sheer Force) @ Choice Scarf
Adamant w 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
>Flare Blitz / Earthquake
>Rock Slide / U-Turn
*Sometimes I wish he was more versatile, but Darmanitan's my favorite member of the team. Usually reserved for late game clean-up, as long as Flare Blitz hits neutrally, Darmanitan's almost guaranteed to 2HKO.

Sylveon (Pixilate) @ Leftovers
Bold w 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpAtk
>Hyper Voice / Wish
>Heal Bell / [Toxic or ???]*
*I'm currently running Toxic, but the omnipresent Heatran often appears to shut Sylveon down completely. I considered HP Ground, but it'll only pose a real threat if the Heatran has zero bulk investment. Should I stick with Toxic, or are there any options Sylveon has to get around Heatran and other Steels?

Roserade (Technician) @ Choice Specs
Timid w 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spd
>Energy Ball / Sludge Bomb
>Dazzling Gleam / Hidden Power Fire
*Roserade's probably the most reliable member of the team, rarely disappointing with its power and often very surprising with its bulk. Technician makes Hidden Power a 90 BP Fire Attack, which has taken opponents by surprise more times than I can count.
