I've been on /vp/ long enough to see those givers come and go quickly. Or if they stick around, learn and get really annoyed at having to deal with the same question in the same thread the third month in a row.
If you want to talk to other givers we can easily get in touch about what works and what doesn't. I would recommend just placing a cross link in /gg/ and keep your own threads because they are too chaotic for /gg/, which has it's own problems. If you want to, bear in mind that means more traffic.
Or you can just not make a thread and stick to /gg/, which is fine too. It'll be less traffic than you're used to which might be easier.
All in saying, some ground rules are better. Sure, it's mean to skip someone who begged and doesn't put up the right pokemon. Or to actually stop after you're out rather than reloading your save. But it's fucking hell to do this and I recommend if you want to keep doing this. To please make it easy on yourself .
