Finally got a 50 streak in the battle maison, so I can get back to playing the game. I'm thinking of tackling Contests. Any good guides on what sort of pokemon to breed for them? Also what makes a good contest moveset?

Contests are so easy that its just a matter of finding a combo that works and abusing it. For example, Agility+Electro Ball will basically give you an appeal in every match.

Copy-type moves are also a win button in most cases, but sometimes the guy in front of you will do something completely stupid for no reason. (Chad's Machoke likes to use Sunny Day when it won't actually do anything)

I though about breeding for contests too but turns out it's just not worth it.
Really useful strategies are something like Swords Dance/Calm Mind/etc and a move that gets you 4 hearts. Just adjust your movesets with the TMs you have for the kind of contest.

That's a little depressing. I never bothered with contests in the past. Maybe I'll just go catch legendaries or something instead. Sounds like contests are a bust.

They made them too easy this gen by removing the pokeblock limit. Unlimited pokeblocks means you can max out every stat they have.
