Am I the only one who thinks that they should just have canned the Safari Zone altogether in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? I mean, I know people didn't like the Safari Game but the Safari Zone becomes irrelevant without it.

I always dreaded finding a shiny in the safari, so I’m kind of glad it is gone.
However, this has made it so that Safari Balls are 3rd and 4th gen only.

Yeah, that one's terrible (and I have a specific personal hatred of it, because the first shiny I ever saw was in the Great Marsh and it ran on the first turn). But remember, the HGSS Safari had that annoying mechanic where you had to place items and leave them there for weeks to get certain Pokemon to show up. Really, they're both very irritating.

i legitimately liked 4th gens zone.
don't know why, but i always liked swampy areas in pokemon games so i thought it was pretty cool
