Pokebeach gets the scans way before anyone, which is partly why they are watermarked. You may find some sites with better quality images, but it's always weeks/months after Pokebeach has already posted them. Pokebeach also has the best quality scans (except the most recent ones where they are still using the shitty scans people sent in, like the Venonat you have). But all their other scans (
http://pokebeach.com/scans/base-set/2-blastoise.jpg) are very good. The super clear ones you sometimes see are from the official program and aren't actual scans, but computer images. That's why they don't have holo effects. But Pokebeach has the most card scans in the most consistent quality which is why it's the internet standard for the card images.
