Well holy shit. I guess they weren't kidding. I get home from a Christmas party get on skype, and the first thing I hear from friends is, "Dude! They're talking about you on /vp/!" I figured, "Huh, I guess maybe they liked my sprites?" and then I see all this.
I actually found it all quite funny, to be honest. Yeah, I'll be the first to admit that I did some really cringey shit when I started on DA ( such as
>>22295685 ) and, yeah, I suppose a smidgen of cringe still remains in my present artwork. However, I just want to write this to clear a few things up.
>>22295661I don't even know why I drew that first image.
As for the second image, that actually isn't "mine" per se. DA had some shit event going on on April 1st called "thoughtArt" and this one was my "result".
The "Trollmews" was made as fanart for an anniversary event going on on Vdex during which a mew with a trollface would do random shit if you happened to find one on the site.
As for number 4, I really don't see how a sprite of something /vp/ designed is cringe. am I missing something?
Yeah, about number 5, given how Sonic is looked at as autistic no matter what, I doubt anything I saw will make much of a difference here.
As for the political criticism, I'll be honest - I don't care. No, I don't mean i don't care about opponents criticizing me for my views, I mean I really don't care much about politics anymore. Hell, some of the things commented on in this thread are about 5 or so years old, and I've long since stopped caring about said issues.
I think that's about it. At you guys (I'm hoping) got a good laugh out of this, even if it was at my expense. Hey, whether you're laughing with me or at me, at least people are laughing.
Oh, and, despite it being almost midnight over here, Merry Christmas to /vp/ and to /vp/ a good night!
Ah, just a couple of final notes here, does anyone know who drew this?
