Here's how the plot is going to go:
You start in Hoenn, play the game with a plot similar to ORAS but with both aqua and magma teams and with the whole plot being Rayquaza-centered. Delta episode kicks in you complete it.
The events of the Delta episode somehow affect the ecosystem in Kalos and Zygarde starts wrecking shit. So you are asked to kill it.
When done, Sycamore sees your potential and incites you to go get all Kalos badges and become a Kalos champion. You guessed who'll be the current champion instead of Diantha, right?
