I'm not super competitive, but I'm working on getting into it. I mostly float around UU on Showdown! with moderate success, and I've dabbled in OU with the same team (sans one member) with mixed results. Mostly because I'm stubborn and don't want to use the same pokemon everyone else is using, which is weird, because the whole point of the OU tier is that everything in it is overused. Anyway, now that I have a 6IV Ditto I figure it'll be a lot easier to breed competitively in-game.
I'm trying to figure out double battles but not sure where to start. For a while now GF's been specifically catering to double/triple/multi-battles as the core meta, and I can see why. There's a lot of things about 6v6 singles that make things slow and frustrating. But with double battles, I worry so much more about synergy. I'll get it eventually.
I come to /vp/ for the fun, the giveaways, and the art, and because the concept of going on an adventure and collecting cool monsters has appealed to me for over a decade now and I like talking about it.
My favorite pokemon are Darmanitan, Parasect, Sandslash, and Hawlucha.
