I didn't mind her that much. She was pretty annoying at times and to be honest I think GF should've made her a more serious character since you get a sense of her serious side on Sky Pillar. That and I think she may have lost a daughter she once had. She mentioned something like that but I cant be 100% certain.

Her battle theme was a cherry on top. Her sad backstory she mentioned after it was over was a cherry on top of that.

And riding my Rayquaza into Space to headsmash through a Meteor that released Mega Satan Super Alien for the final confrontation was a cherry on top of that.

Actually, GF themselves spoiled the Delta Episode as a major advertisement of the games. It was kind of unavoidable unless you were actually avoiding pokemon related sites altogether.
