eruption doesn't get sheer force boost though, fire blast does. And like everyone says it tears in trick room. Just absolutely tears. Kinda have to slap a druddigon on it for water types though (especially azumarill and rotom-w)

Which is now mostly outclassed by Landorus-T.
Unless something significant happens it's going to go the way of (non-mega) Salamence as early as next gen.

It might have something to do with how Numel can have Simple, or how Numel resembles a grassy hill. It leads to some absolutely hilarious damage numbers for Fire Blast:

Trick Room Victini is already a thing because of V-Create's recoil, so there's one candidate.
If Gourgeist had become a proper drinking gourd and gotten Storm Drain, it would be the perfect partner.
I really wish Cradily got Trick Room now.

Camerupt was always good at putting a stop to Electric types, since it takes fuck all from Hidden Power Grass and Ice. Should be even better as a Mega. It also takes normal damage from clandestine cobblestones, unlike the Charizard megas.
