I grind everything legit. I have 100+ hours kicking the shit out of the elite four in my Red version to buy vitamins, even though I could easily glitch it or cheat.

I also play old, dead Pokemon games (like Red version).

I also do shit like getting good mons off of wonder trade, then breeding for abilities and releasing the traded ones.

I need to expand on my own autism. I need to confess.

I wrote a java application to calculate the function power of moves in various situations
I wrote another one to calculate the best route to grind experience, depending on how far I am in the game.
I spend hours trying to quantify which moves are best.
I do theme runs, sometimes based on the tcg. For example, the Red file I mentioned has all Pokemon from the Fossil TCG set.

Ditto. Even when mass breeding for shinies.
Then I IV check all of them for optimal IV spread, and i release all the ones without it, and wonder trade all the ones with it that are not shiny.
If you ever got a 5-6 IV perfect non-shiny with a nickname via wonder trade, check the trainer name, it's probably mine.

I used to work on this shitty factory 7 years ago, it was my first job, i had a coworker who was 31 years old (i was 19 at the time) and he still played pokemon while i only started playing this series 3 years ago, he was super autistic about salamence "hurr best dragon the most powerful you should play pokemon so we could trade etc it's a pretty fun game", he's still playing that shit and he's nearly 40 years old, and by the way he isn't autistic, fat or something, he's just like any other normal adult but obssesed with pokemon, haven't seen him in person since a year ago but he still posts on facebook.
