At least Marie was optional content, the Delta Episode is mandatory to go too Copypaste Maison and the hatching loop. Not to mention, Zinnia's actions are much worse and she's MORE annoyingly dumb, and I'd take being suddenly liked by the cast over that (though I'd prefer neither)
Steven didn't know, nor did he believe in, the existence of the alternate Hoenn. I'm sure if he did, there would probably be some tension between him and his father over it because Steven is generally established to be idealistic compared to his father who believes much more in necessary sacrifices.
I just hate how Zinnia was handled a lot, and the worst part is, you pretty much KNOW she's coming back next game. Let's hope she's somehow redeemed.
