Why is everyone wanting the battle frontier so much? Who gives a shit about it. Why make Delta Emerald for a shitty frontier and a few extra add ons. X and Y 2 or whatever it's called will be awesome as long as they make some more use of crappy Zygarde

Its not just about Battle Frontier.

It's about making a cheap game in a year development time without improving the post game of XY and even removing elements from gen 3.

It's about them lowering the quality bar because se they know they'll sell anyway

Its about us knowing that from now on, they'll erase anything they want because they don't care about us. They make the games much easier with less content and some megas for the little kids that will buy this quickly made decade old rehash because it says Pokémon on the box, regardless of quality.

They are sending a fuck you to old fans. Forget about customization, clothes, following Pokémon, Battle Frontier and other stuff you ever liked because they don't care

Less features is the same as having a shitty, forgettable feature. Battle Frontier was a waste of time and memory.

i skipped b2/w2 and x/y and i'm only here because i impulsively bought as due to nostalgia, i doubt i'll buy another game for a while

Literally no post game content other than Battle Tower. Glitched IVs with roamers. One luxury ball per game. Missable master ball. No reliable grinding spots.

i'm not trying to be sarcastic or an ass, because i haven't played them, but what was there to do post-game in r/b and g/s?

obviously i know g/s had kanto but was it actually alive? was there a story?

GS had a shitload of post game content. Low quality, yes, but still a load of exploring to do.
Kanto was even worse than RS because literally nothing to do bar Mewtwo, but it can be somewhat forgiven as those were the first Pokémon games.

i wonder where else this has happened in other franchises

they haven't made an x2/y2 or a z yet, have they?

gamefreak could easily make gen vii where you start off in a region to the south of kalos and then a mildly updated kalos could be post-game
