Implying your starter won't have 4IVs = 31, 2 egg moves, and starts out at level 20.

Dialga / Palkia also joins without a fight, and is level 80. You fight Cyrus afterwards. Has a mega Crobat, but knows Final Gambit.

Only if it's a Gen 6 remake.
HGSS was remade in Gen 4 and had a copypaste of Sinnoh's Battle Frontier. ORAS was remade in Gen 6 and had a copypaste of Kalos' Battle Maison.

Had ORAS been remade in Gen 5 it would have had a shitty Battle Subway instead.

And of course Fractal Diamond/Solid Pearl will have Looker.

Actually, why even have a Battle Tower clone in Gen VII? It's too hard on the kiddies, having postgame would upset kids so they'd go to their mobile games. Better to just have a main story and then nothing after so they don't have to worry about challenge.
