Mega Swampert would be a great choice as well. Although it's always hard to lead with physical mons, considering Intimidate.
When I went through Doubles in XY, I used a Blizzard team with Greninja, Abomasnow, Talonflame, and Nidoking. I think what you're lacking right now is power. You need 2 strong leads (Char-Y + Typhlosion), and then use Chesnaught and Empoleon for backups against Aerodactyl and friends.
