Zinnia was so sure and self-righteous about her being the chosen one that she couldn't even think that there can always be a spanner in the works. Like I said in another thread, it's better to eventually kill people from an hypothetical universe that you'll probably never meet and thus save the lives of millions in your own universe. You always must make some sacrifices when your cause is great and fair.
TL;DR: Zinnia is a dangerous psychotic bitch that should be put in a straightjacket and locked deep in an asylum.
