As someone who did not care about post-game until this generation...
What was the difference between the Battle Maison and the Battle Frontier?

The Battle Frontier was a little bit bigger and had a cave dedicated to Smeargle, Artisan Cave. People are really upset that they can't just get an endless supply of Smeargle anymore.

frontier was everything maison was + 6 more facilities that offered their own unique take on pokemon battling

easily my favourite feature of the series, dropped like 400 hours in the emerald one and then another 300 in Plat+HGSS

i still pop in my emerald cartridge sometimes and play a round of factory or two

Most of those gimmicks were fucking crap though. The only decent ones were Pike and Pyramid.

Nigga are you serious.
Catching level 40-50 Smeargle is pointless. You have to level it up by 40 levels before it can learn Sketch 4 times or use a bunch of Heart Scales.

You can breed them and get a ton of Smeargle quickly that way.

the only questionable facility in my opinion was hall, which is waaaay to match-up based. still I know some people that really enjoyed it so i guess it's just the matter of taste.

everything else is 10/10 would play to eternity and beyond
