Power creep is why tier lists make sense. Even if Smogon isn't perfect it does try to fix a major problem with the game. I can't fault them for that.

I don't fault Smogon for anything. GF are the ones at fault here for continually unbalancing the game like this. From Mega Milf to this; I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere down the road we saw something with 1000 BST.

BST is certainly a large part of the problem. Abilities and moves can always be avoided and thought around. You cant really do anything about 180 base Attack.

Did this at least a dozen times on battle spot all day yesterday. Yes, sometimes it gets cut pretty close, or sleep talk does rest or fissure, but max defence Walrien can take a few hits.

If you are talking about in ORAS, I have a funny story for you guys. I was at the end of Delta Episode, and I was on my third try for catching Deoxys because I already used the Master Ball on Groudon like an idiot. I caught Rayquaza for a third time, and got to Zinnia's Mega Salamence. Now, instead of one-shotting it with Dragon Pulse like I had done every other time, I decided to use Dragons Ascent because I hadn't used it yet. It brought him down to yellow and Salamence one-shot Rayquaza with Dragon Claw, and I fucking quit. And then I got it on my next try.
