Just a heads-up OP. You actually can get HA pokemon with powersaves. When you use the "generate any pokemon from wondercard" code, there's a chance it will have its HA, even if it's unavailable. Then just use it for breeding.

You can soft reset in front of the attendant for it. It only usually takes about 5 resets max before you get one.

Just local in general. Doesn't necessarily have to be infrared. If the person is next to you, then a regular trade will allow the Sheer Force Totodile egg to go through.
If it's anything wi-fi related, the game won't allow it. Only reason I know is because I personally tried it with my brother.
