So grabbed 200 potions and went on my way
Gramps told me I'd make a great professor
I just looked at him and said "smell ya later"
First class, yo
Catching pokemon, training, and talking to dex
Is this what the life of a champ is like?
Hmmmmm, this might be alright.
But wait, I hear there's all kind of gyms for pokemon training
Rock, water, electric, grass, but what about fighting?
It's right next to the psychic?
I don't think so
I hope they are ready for the future champ of Kanto
When I finally went to fight Giovanni
He had a pokemon that made things go kablooey
I called it the most powerful
I didn't want to die
So I ran outta there without saying goodbye
I ran to three more gyms and where they stood
I beat their leaders so bad they closed down for good
I then walked into the elite four with a super ego
And that my homies is how I became the champ of Kanto
I finished my fight around 7 or 8
And I yelled to lance "smell ya later"
I looked at my kingdom
And thought it was so-so
To sit on my throne as the champ of Kanto
