I think the swerve in GoD was less that he was a villain and more that his bodyguards were his sons and that Ardos was completely batshit crazy while Eldes was just tired of it all.

The fact that the bodyguards got any characterization other than 'bodyguard' was more of a surprise.

It's not a joke. He was the villain from Gale of Darkness. Pain in the ass to fight too, since half his team was fucking legendaries and he throws a corrupted Lugia at you to fight right before.

I see no Ice in this list, he was the Gen4 era Gary / Blue / Green at time even if has appeared in a side game that was Pokemon Rangers. Hot, annoying, used OU mons, had an interesting twist in th story.

What did this guy in as a villain is that anyone who played colosseum would recognize the exact same fucking twist from there.

Ardos was the better villain, they should have made the twist Ardos overthrowing Greevil at the end after he loses and forcing you to fight Lugia as part of his team so you couldn't cheese the entire ending using the master ball
