ITT: Times you felt Stupid in a pokemon game

In XY the route before Couriway Town I saw the flowers at the bottom of the route and the cave so I assumed you had to go through the cave. I spent hours trying to find the way through the cave to to next town. Eventually went down the flowers and saw thats where the next town was, felt pissed as all hell.
