It's one of my favorites though, and it's clearly very successful. Good design that has human elements to it allowing one to relate more, and incorporates multiple themes very well. Generally a very strong combatant with well placed stats despite a low BST. It's lucky enough to have a Mega improving upon both of these factors, keeping it fresh and relevant.
Not to mention it's serious, heroic "silent but strong"-like archetype that it follows, allowing it to be an easy shoe-in for a strong notable character.
