Alright, you retards: here is a quick way to get good in the Maison quickly. Just do the following two, easy steps.
1) Go to
http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/battle-maison-discussion-records.3492706/Pick a team you like from the top 10 teams on the Super Singles leaderboard. Doesn't matter which; don't pick a Durant team, though. Take it and breed it as it is described - don't tweak things you don't know shit about.
Now, you'll play with that team. How do you play? You will download the spreadsheet from
http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/battle-maison-discussion-records.3492706/page-97#post-5831376 . It will be your Bible. Any time you see a Pokémon whose item and moveset/EVs you don't know (which is all of them at first because you fucking suck), you look it up in this spreadsheet. It also has a search function for trainers; use it, you imbecile. Additionally, it includes the new trainers in ORAS, so it covers everything you need to know about the AI's Pokémon in the Maison.
Don't do look-ups in the first 40 battles - you face 100 specific trainers past battle 40, most of which only use Set 4 Pokémon. Bothering with enemies that don't matter in the long run wastes your already insufficient mental capacity.
Play like this for a while. If you're doing what I fucking told you, you will be somewhere above 200 battles in an attempt or two. At this point, you may proceed to the second point.
2) Now, with some real Maison experience and knowledge of the Pokémon you will face and some understanding of a strong Maison team (the one you copied), you can try your hand at building your own team. Keep looking up Pokémon from the spreadsheet and do damage calculations.
