All this can be successfully shat on by that incredibly mediocre HP and forgettable physical defense, especially in a game teeming with Earthquake.

It was shit because it's stats were pretty average outside of special defense, and the fact that it had useless abilities.

Now that it gets Adaptability it can nuke things with Draco Meteor and Sludge Bomb, as well as hit bulkier fairies like Florges with Gunk Shot.

You don't need Gunk Shot to OHKO Florges. Venoshock with Toxic Spikes support does the same results alongside having better accuracy, power, and special attack.
